Description
On our website you can order tickets for the Olympic and Paralympic competitions in kayaking and canoeing, which will be held at the nautical stadium of Vyre-sur-Marne in 2024. This brand new Olympic venue, completed in 2019, is the first of the new venues dedicated to the Olympic Games.
The stadium, designed by architects Auer, Weber and Assoziierte, is located in the Vaires-Torcy recreation center and includes a lake, a whitewater stadium and a residential area with a landscaped roof from where you can enjoy beautiful views. The 4,400 sqm sports center features a new white water stadium, two fields over 300 and 150 meters long, and a 2,200 meter rowing and canoeing track. There is also a sports medicine center, a strength training center, administrative offices and a media center.
Vaires-Sur-Marne Nautical St. - Flatwater attracts representative bodies from kayaking, canoeing and all levels of paddling. The headquarters of the French Federation, the regional committee, national and youth centers are located here. It is also home to the Ile-de-France Rowing League and its youth center, as well as the logistics platform of the French Rowing Federation. The complex is an international center of excellence for the sport and one of only three venues in the world to host Olympic and Paralympic kayaking and canoeing events.
